Bow Thruster – Part 7 – First Layer of Filler

Mac and I had some discussion around what to use as a filler.  I tried to find out what other people were using but that small item was not documented anywhere (that I could find).  Here is what we did.  I was looking for the best option for a filler which would give good strength and take the compression movement.  The West System epoxy with 404  filler seemed to be the best choice.  Mac was fine with the choice but made one change for the final layer.  I will explain that shortly.  We let the sealant dry overnight and Mac put the first layer on the next day.
